I keep getting an error when trying to reply to an email using Outlook that says "The required file AcroCloudConnect.dll cannot be found in your path. Install Microsoft Outlook again." As the name suggests, this is apparently an Adobe file. The program then shuts down. I have reinstalled Outlook several times with no luck resolving the error.
Any thoughts on how to resolve this issue would be much appreciated. Thanks all.

As mentioned that you are getting the above error while trying to reply on an email. Would you mind sharing a few more details to understand the issue better?
1. Is it happening with only an email reply or with sending new emails too?
2. Repair the MS office and check if that helps.
3. Check if there is an update available on windows OS
Thanks,
Harsh

Thank you for resonding. Yes, it happens both when trying to reply to an email and trying to write a new email. I have tried repairing and reinstalling outlook several times. My windows is fully up to date. From my research, this appears to be an Adobe file.

Thanks for providing the details. Kindly provide a few more details:
1. Acrobat version?
2. Windows version?
3. Try to repair the Acrobat application and check if that helps.
Make sure that the app is updated to the latest version.
We are looking forward to hearing back from you.

Hello,
I ran into this issue today and performed the following tasks to resolve it.
Pre-Fix
1.) Windows 10 (without update 21H2)
2.) Latest version of Adobe DC Standard installed.
3.) Latest version of Adobe Creative Cloud installed: 5.7.1
4.) Latest version of Office 2016
Fix
1.) Windows 10 (without update 21H2)
2.) Uninstallation of Adobe Acrobat Standard and Creative cloud did not resolve the issue.
3.) Error continued with Outlook with opening a new email or responding to an email
4.) Ran a complete office uninstall with the Office uninstall support tool: https://support.office.com/en-us/article/Uninstall-Office-from-a-PC-9dd49b83-264a-477a-8fcc-2fdf5dbf...
5.) Reinstalled Office 2016 from the O365 Portal.
6.) Issue resolved. There was no error when opening an email or responding to an email
7.) I installed Adobe Acrobat Standard DC from the Cloud
8.) Both the Adobe Creative Cloud app and Adobe Standard installed successfully.
9.) The error returned.
10.) Uninstalled both Adobe products and the error went away.
NOTES: The Acrocloudconnect.dll file in question is not registered, nor is it installed on the local machine. When performing a Windows search for the Acrocloudconnect.dll file, it is located under C:\Windows\Installer\$PackageCache$\<alphanumeric name of the cached msi file>\Windows\System32\Acrocloudconnect.dll <---- this path may not be accurate after $PackageCach$\... I not longer have access to the machine in question.
Is this enough information in finding out the issue? Thanks.
Kind regards,
Joe

It's a super frustrating issue. I had to use Microsoft Outlook's web based program for quite some time, instead of the software application. I contacted Adobe customer service via chat, probably 5-6 times. I finally got to a tech support agent that was patient and willing to spend some time resolving it. The tech support specialist remoted into my computer and uninstalled and reinstalled Adobe DC and Creative Cloud I think and he changed some settings on my computer. Sorry, wish I could help more on what specifically was changed. But he did get it fixed.
This is an Adobe issue. Some specialists will tell you to contact Microsoft tech support, but the file at issue is an Adobe file. Good luck.

Lifesaver! I didn't want to go through all of that other technical crap, and this was a 30 second change. Didn't even need to restart outlook.
