Hello, tried doing what you suggested, unfortunately still going to acrobat pro.
When i first started using acrobat standard version with my sign in ID, it did not ask for any serial number. The sign in ID was enough.
I had sucessfully done 2 reinstall. this is just the first time happening my acrobat going to the Pro version

Ok, thanks. This shows it is the RIGHT download, but the install isn't going through right.
The same installer might
- ask for a serial number and install EITHER Acrobat Pro or Acrobat Standard, depending on what you paid for
- run a trial of Acrobat Pro.
At some point in the install, it should ask whether you have a serial number or want a trial. Or ask you to sign in THEN ask for a serial. Unfortunately, I've never run this particular installer, so I don't know the order of things. Try running it again. Some versions had a little link "License this software" tucked away on a corner of the screen, which was easy to miss.
