Do you mean vertically? If so, set the field as Multiline.

I would like to align text vertically in a text box (pdf form) and I HAVE checked "Multi-line" in the text field properties, but when I close editing and fill out the form, the text is vertically CENTERED. Any suggestions?

Hi Kathrynjmck,

Sorry for the delay in response.

We have tried to create the form fields with the same text properties.

It is working fine at our end without any issues.

Would it be possible for you to share the PDF with us so that we can check it on our end?

Please refer to the steps provided here to share the PDF form How to share a file using Adobe Document Cloud

Let us know if the issue is already resolved or if you need any help.

Regards,

Meenakshi

I was using Cambria and as soon as I changed it to Times New Roman it worked fine. I left the single line text fields as Cambria and they seem to be ok. Is Cambria the only font I should avoid?

Hi,

Is the Form editor the same as the "Edit PDF" in the right field?  If so, I cannot click the text field because it's in gray. Please help, my text still goes to the middle of the fillable form.

I am having the same issue.  The text begins in the middle of the text field.  I have tried Times Roman Bold and Arial Bold fonts. Changing the font does not seem to solve the issue.  I also tried clicking on Properties > Options and Alignment is set on Left already.  I do not see where I can align the text vertically.  Any assistance would be appreciated.  Thanks.
