PDF Form UK Post Code Validation

Hi all,

I am trying to create an application form with limited knowledge of how to do it however I'm fairly tech savvy so will be able to pick it up reasonably quickly.

I'm trying to add validation in to the form for things like name, DOB, phone number and email which are all fine, but the one I am struggling with is UK Post Code.

Does anyone know of any tutorials of how to do this or whether I need a specific version of Adobe to do it?

Do you want to look it up and make sure it is actually valid (a real address), or just make sure it looks like a UK postcode? If it is the first, I suggest you give up the idea. If it is the second, see https://www.mrs.org.uk/pdf/postcodeformat.pdf  but note that many people type their postcode without a space.
