PDF imposition export/print option for binding methods in acrobat pro

Hello everyone,

in inDesign I created a Book/Magazine with 44 pages in total (DIN A4 printed on both sides on DIN A3 sheets; 4 pages per sheet).

For binding the sheets together I chose the perfect binding method. To print the PDF file for binding in the correct order of the pages I would like to use the brochure print function of acrobat pro. Unfortunately there is only an option for saddle stitching but not for perfect binding. Does anyone know how to get the pages in the correct order?

The reason perfect binding doesn't have an option is because it's straight normal order. Saddle Stitching requires a different ordering - 4 page signatures 4 1 2 3 pattern and then based upon pages in increments of 4; (other signatures sizes would not be available in Acrobat). If you need different patterns, you would need a plugin like Quite Imposing +5

Seems like I misunderstood the perfect binding method. What I want is shown in the picture. As far as I know, the order of the pages need to be rearranged. The page increments of 4 would work out in my case.
