Hi all, I am switching from a window-based PDF printing to now a mac M1. For some reason any black and white printing on my epson is coming out with ORANGE color...not all but some graphics which should be in black and white (but orange). some blue font but comes out in orange. I've set everything to black/white/grayscale before printing but it doesn't matter. The only "solution" I've found was to print in PREVIEW but it takes 3x the time! HELP! I have the latest driver for my epson printer, running macOS Big Sur 11.4...Thank you.

Did you followed the troubleshooting guidance provided by the manufacturer of your printing device?
I don't see how this relates to Adobe Acrobat but if it helps, if your Epson printing device is an inkjet printer, have you checked the ink levels of the color print cartridges?
You should disable color printing if that color ink cartridge is low on ink, and more precisely if all you need is black ink... just use the black ink cartridge.
Again, check with your Epson's user manual first.

Thanks for those thoughts.
I didn't think to check with Epson first because it's the same document I print each week. The only diff is now I'm using an Apple M1 instead of a window-based PC laptop.
And I checked all the ink levels and it's all good... will consult Epson online manual... thank you for that thought.

You're welcome. I'm online too checking on this, if I find something relevant to this particular issue I'll post back.
