PDF preview and AMD processor

I have the new Surface Pro with the Qualcomm processor. If I install Acrobat reader, I cannot see previews of the pdf in file explorer. It says there is an error in the PDF preview handler. Does Adobe know about this problem and have a timeline for a fix?
