PDF text gets jumbled

Hello,

Im working on a Mac and have the latest Sierra 10.12.6 installed and am having this issue with Acrobat DC. When I am creating a document then save it to PDF the text gets jumbled but only in the paragraph or column headings. It doesn't happen with any other PDF application. So for instance, if I use Preview as my "go to" PDF application, the text is just fine?

Any ideas?

If you could please post a copy of a sample Word document and resultant PDF file that exhibit this problem, we might be able to understand what you are describing and hopefully offer a solution. FWIW, MacOS Preview is not a PDF file generator. It is capable of displaying a subset of the PDF specification. If you are getting “jumbled text” in displaying a PDF file, the problem is likely in the PDF creation (especially with regards to fonts and font encoding). What may be happening is that Preview may be ignoring issues in the PDF file. Regardless, post samples and we can try to help as best as possible.
