PDF to MS Word document conversion, Vietnamese VinaPala fonts issue

I tried Adobe Acrobat Pro 2023 on MAC (as well as on PC Windows 10)  (both machines with VinaPala installed) to convert from PDF to MS Word (and RTF), although the fonts in MS Word document are detected correctly as "VinaPala", the converted text does not look the same at all.  Many of the characters are completely bizarre. 

The attached is the example of the correct original text in "VinaPala" fonts from PDF document, and also the incorrectly converted result viewed on PC in MS Word.   As mentioned above I tried to do the conversion using Adobe Acrobat Pro directly on MAC and also on PC, with the same bad results.  

Any idea what could be the problem and any further suggestions? TIA
