Printing with plotter

New Here ,

I have a problem with printing in large formats as A1. We have a HP Designjet T770 24in Plotter. When i send the file to print it always comes out as portrait not landscape, that means that half the drawing is cut of. I have tried to change from portrait to landscape in setting but nothing happens. Ive talked to our printing manager and he thinks it is something in acrobat that overwrite the printing settings.

Do anyone have expiriense with this problem?

In general Acrobat reads what the printer uses and uses that parameter. If, however, you set the parameter in Acrobat, Acrobat passes through that parameter to the printer driver (via the OS API).

In the Acrobat print dialogue set Auto portrait/landscape:

Page set-up talks to the printer driver:

...but this can also be set in the printers dialogue:

A plotter is only an oversized printer for the OS and Acrobat...so this should be the same for you. If Auto portrait/landscape does not work for you, setting Portrait or Landscape manually should work.
