There is apparently an update out, that solves the blank pages problem.

I had this problem many times and just found a possible solution.

May be you are printing a file that comes from a scanned image. So in the Print Menu go to the Advance options and choose "Print as Image".

You can look for more in

I have had this issue with scanned PDFs since upgrading to Reader DC. Reader says I need to install an Asian language pack, but that doesn't make sense.

Choosing to "Print as Image" still results in a blank page. Copying it to a JPEG works, although this is not a viable long term solution.

I think to have solved the issue on my end.

It seems that by installing the Asian Language Pack and choosing to "Print as Image" solves the problem.

By the way, I am using Adobe Reader XI v11.0.12.

Hope this helps.

You will need to upload the Asian Language Pack for the Acrobat Reader DC and it solves the problem.  I uploaded and uninstalled Acrobat Reader DC 2015.00920069 several times and could not print some previous saved pdf files.  With  Acrobat Reader DC 2015.00920069 installed, I then uploaded the Asian Language Pack for the Acrobat Reader DC and bingo, the program prints all images.  The problem of blank pages being printed is over, gone, absent.

Issue is still not fixed, but you can work around it.

1. Update to the latest Adobe by clicking Help/check for updates.

2. Click File/Print/ SUMMARIZE COMMENTS/ Click yes on pop up

3. That's it...this was the only thing that worked for me.

Just an update to this old, potentially resolved issue as I've just experienced it for the first time: The unusual property in the PDF document with which I'm having this issue includes a complex or high-density vector graphic. My suspicion is it's a rendering/processing issue for the printer. I resolved it by reformatting said graphic to a high-quality bitmap image. Obviously not a perfect but if my hypothesis is true, the outcome could be a firmware issue on the part of the printer. (Using Acrobat DC 15.23.20056.213124 on El Capitan.)

I have a similar problem, where I create PDF's from Photoshop and when I try to print from Adobe Reader the pages would be blank. My solution was to go to Edit>Preferences>Security(Enhanced) and un-check Enable Enhanced Security

Windows 10 Version 1703 (16257.1)

Adobe Acrobat Reader DC 2017.009.20058

I also tried everything:

  • Installing language packs
  • Modifying every printer setting under the sun
    • 'Print as image'
    • No duplex
    • Document / Document Markups / Summarize Comments / etc.
  • Uninstalling and reinstalling the printer

No luck using Adobe Acrobat Reader DC to print my PDF.  It always comes out blank.

I did however open the PDF in Chrome and selected 'Print using system dialog' and was able to duplex print my PDF successfully from there.

Frustrated too!  My windows just upgraded to the "new" 1709 windows 10 version 16299.64.  I'm running on a 64-bit Dell Laptop.

Up until the this new version of windows installed, adobe was running "slow" but at least it would print.

We scan to a pdf on an Epson scanner (not an all-in-one, just a scanner), it scans fine, image shows in Epson preview fine, saves fine.  Open it in either preview or in Adobe, and it's BLANK, or the first page is blank and/or miscellaneous pages are blank, but WON'T print at all, all pages blank when printing.

We've uninstalled and then updated the scanner drivers/software, we've update the Adobe reader, we've removed and added the printer drivers, still nothing.  I also have the full version of Adobe on another laptop, and it does it there too.

Sometimes it'll print from "quick print" but not every time.  Some of the pdf's just spool forever and never print.

Something has changed and needs to be addressed ASAP.
