Problem with editing signed pdf

New Here ,
Mar 26, 2021 Mar 26, 2021

Hello, I'm a newbie, and I have a problem with editing pdfs. Here's a little bit of background.

I created a form (using office Word). This form has to be filled up by the client, signed and sent to me, But in this very form there is a section that has to be filled up by me (date of reception, intern ID code, and dates of different stages of processing the order).

The problem is that I can't edit the pdf. I get a message that says that the pdf has been singed and can't be modified. How do I get around this? Is there any solution?

Thanks!

Not really. Your workflow needs to be redesigned. The client's signature would be destroyed (and all the legal validity of it gone) if you did change it afterwards.  Perhaps rather than a single file you need a collection of files. You could attach the client's signed file inside a file of yours, for example.
