problem with installing Adobe Acrobat Pro

New Here ,
Dec 04, 2023 Dec 04, 2023

Hello I had Adobe Acrobat Pro installed on my Windows 10 computer, which I was very happy with. Since I started having problems with my computer after the Windows 10 auto update, I went back through the restore point, to the point where my computer was working without any problems. Unfortunately then Adobe Reader Pro stopped working for me. I therefore tried to install it again after logging into my customer account . However, after stretching 3.7%, I get a popup saying that installation is not possible and to install the program via Adobe cloud. Even if I install Adobe cloud , after running the downloaded exe file from the official Adobe website, the Adobe Cloud application starts installing, however, after the installation is complete, the Adobe cloud itself does not start. I have also tried deleting temporary files, restarting the computer, installing the application again unfortunately this is not possible Adobe Acrobat Pro always gets stuck at 3.7%, and Adobe Cloud does not start installing at all. Please help and advice. Sincerely David

Hi @David34036224zzol

Hope you are doing well and thanks for reaching out.

Please remove the application using the Acrobat cleaner tool https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/Labs/cleaner.html , reboot the computer and reinstall the application using the direct link https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/acrobat-dc-downloads.html

Let us know how it goes.

~Amal
