I have the same problem no matter what printer I use.  I can email the pdf to someone that does not use Adobe Acrobat DC and the full page will print.  A bit difficult since I mostly work from home and need to go to the office to pick up the printout.

I am having the same problem. I also found that if you print that document as a PDF it will print normally.

Having same issue on OS X, Acrobat updated yesterday and our proofing routine has not changed.

We have an Acrobat template that we open, edit some fields and place a color JPG.

File saves, looks and open fine, but only prints a portion of the jpg

Work around is click to click print/advanced/print as image. (do not like this method)

Effecting our production, sales and customers, please remedy.

Adobe, I am sorry but this is unacceptable. I am having the same problem on ALL computers whether Acrobat Pro or just the reader as an overnight update installed on every single computer. How can you possibly push out an update with such a major flaw? My entire workflow is compromised. Any solution in sight?

I found a workaround by printing as "image" which is slower but at least works and the images are not cutting off.

Otherwise re-PDFing the file or the specific pages which are affected from Acrobat also solve it (print the PDF to generate new PDF).

But, it is still a shame that one has to resort to such.

I am using this WORKAROUND waiting for Adobe solution to the problem:

  • il the PDF is mail attached, save it somewhere on the disk;
  • right click of the mouse button on the file, OPEN WITH --> Google Chrome;
  • print the file using Google Chrome.

IT WORKS!!!!!!

Hope this is useful to someboy.

I am unable to print saved PDFs without blacked out areas at top and bottom of eac page and this link is not valid. I am sure you have resolved this problem almost two years later.

I am also still having this problem two years later. I'm trying to edit a 8 1/2 in x 11 in page in Photoshop and the bottom is cut off. These links aren't working.

In my case, I was able to fix the problem. I was unable to print from Microsoft to PDF without our logo image getting cut off at the sides. My original word document printed the image fully, it only was cut off when printing to PDF.  I inserted a text box and inserted the image inside the text box and it resolved the issue.

Good Morning,

Its August 17, 2020 and the above fix was from 2018 and still does not work.  Like others below it is comprimizing our work.  Is there anything anyone has come up with to fix this problem yet?

Lisa

I have a solution, but it requires a workaround.  If you convert the image to a pdf, you can then open the new pdf file, and print it as a pdf to resize it.  It's cumbersome, but it will fix the image being cut off issue.

I'd also like to make a point that Adobe still considers this issue resolved, despite the fact that the issue is still recurring 2 years after the patch that was supposed to fix it.  I'm not a coder, but it seems like if I can come up with a solution in under 10 minutes to the problem, that Adobe's highly paid coding team should be able to patch in a fix after 2 YEARS of the issue recurring.

No idea if TanviRastogi is still working at Adobe, but I hope that she know this 'fixed' issue is still recurring, and is working with her QI team to get an actual fix pushed for this.

Adobe is garbage. I get a PDF and still have to use the snipping tool (free download) to snip the PDF I want to print, then copy and paste it into "paint"... The old application I'd use as a child... and it prints... If there is small print it may not be as clear as the PDF, but since Adobe can't fix this issue, it's another option. Good thing I don't pay for Adobe... Otherwise, I'd have to squeeze my head back out of my ass.
