Hi @TaisaVS

Hope you are doing well and thanks for reaching out.

Would you mind sharing the steps you are doing to create the PDF from the Word document?

It seems to be a font issue, as if the fonts are not properly embedded into the PDF file or they are not present on your computer or you might not have the required permission to use the font.

Please try to create the PDF from the Acrobat ribbon present in the MS Word toolbar and see if that works.

Also, go to Preferences (Ctrl,Cmd +K) > Page Display > Rendering > Select 'Use local fonts' > Click OK and reboot the computer once.

Let us know how it goes.

Regards

Amal

Hi, Amal

I'm fine and I hope you too.

Thanks for response my topic.

The steps to save docx as PDF are:
file > save a copy as > select pdf

I've tryied to create the PDF from de Acrobat ribbon but the result was the same.

At Adobe Acrobat the option 'use local fonts' was alredy selected.

I installed the font 'montserrat' at windows font and it is possible to use it in word, but not at acrobat.

If I choose the option "print to PDF" the result is the text with the font monserrat thin and without bold.

If I choose the option "microsoft print to PDF" the result is the same of word, but it seems with less resolution...

There's something to do to ajust that?

Thanks in advance,

Taisa

Hi there

The option Microsoft print as PDF is the Microsoft process to create the PDF file, and Adobe has no control over it. However, you also tried to create the PDF through the Acrobat ribbon and got the same result. Please try to save the PDF as Other > Optimized PDF > Under the Fonts section, check for any unembedded fonts and try to retain them > Click OK and follow the onscreen instructions and see if that works for you.
