"The operation failed because Adobe Acrobat encountered an unknown error." only on one page

I have an 8-page document and I am able to Fill & Sign on the first 7 pages, but when I try to add text on page 8, I get "The operation failed because Adobe Acrobat encountered an unknown error." any ideas on how to fix this?

I'm using Mac Monterey and yes I updated Adobe PDF Reader and cleared my cache and restarted the computer and recreated the pdf. None of these worked.

Could it be that page number 8 is or was part of another PDF document that enforced any type of protected content or had editing restrictions?

Is this 8 page document that you're describing a document that contain pages from other PDFs documents  merged together?
