Yes please, Acrobat Pro on my Desktop keeps on crashing as soon as I try to edit a PDF.

reset your acrobat pro preferences.
Done. I tried again but it crashed again. I must mention that the font used in the document is custom and probably unavailable online. Could that be causing the issue?
