Re: Fix the OCR error Could Not Perform Recognition in Acrobat

Jun 22, 2018 Jun 22, 2018

I have tried every solution posted in this thread and I still get the same exact error "Text in some pages couldn't be recognized" I have a word file with nothing but pictures pasted in, no text anywhere. I then save it as PDF using Acrobat PRO and then use Acrobat PRO to convert it and I get an error every time.

I just installed Acrobat Pro so it's the newest version.

I bought this software specifically for this one feature and it wont even work. It's very frustrating.

Hi Jeffp,

Sorry for the delay in response.

As you have mentioned above, you get the error "Text in some pages couldn't be recognized".

Brilliant guidance! So you recommend I'd do this for 1234 times in a row for I have a book with that many pages I need to OCR? With the app I've paid actual money for to have such features so one wouldn't need to resort to menial labour?
Great, I'll get to it then! 🙂

What I actually meant is "GOD DAMNIT, make your EFFING apps EFFING WORK FOR ONCE!"
