Read out loud - select text only

Hello,

I was previously able to select text I wanted for the read out loud function, but it is no longer working.  Now, the only option is the read out loud the entire page.  However, can someone help me with the settings so I can select a section of the text that it will then read out loud to me?

Sorry for the delay in response.

As you have mentioned above, the selection of text to Read Out Loud is not working.

In Adobe Acrobat Reader/ Acrobat DC, there are only two options available for "Read Out Loud".

You can either select the "Read this page only" or Read to the end of the document".

There was never an option available to read the selected text.

Could you please confirm the Adobe application you are using?

Are you using the desktop application or the mobile application?

Please share the exact workflow you used to do to enable "Read the selected text".

Hi,

I was able to have Acrobate Pro DC read aloud highlighted text only by deselecting "Enable Enhanced Security" in "Security (Enhanced)" in Perferences. However, it only worked for one selection of text. Once I highlighted a different paragraph it stopped working. Please let me know if there is another way that works or if the function still doesn't exist.
