Hello,

I have the latest version of adobe reader.  Recently, whenever I try to print a PDF, only the top of the page prints and the rest is blank.  This does not happen when I print word or excel documents.  I have tried the "advanced" image print, and it does not work.  Please advise.

Hi christinem81152787,

Could you please try running Reader as an administrator and see if that works:

Locate Reader's shortcut on desktop>right click>select Run as administrator, then print a pdf file.

Please confirm the version of Reader installed on your machine?

Which Operating System is installed on the machine-Mac/Windows?

Hello, and thank you for your response.  I attempted to run the Adobe Reader as administrator but got an error message saying Adobe failed to connect to a DDE server.  I was unable to print a PDF.  I have windows 10, and it was on my start menu.  Should I pin it as an app?  The version I have is DC.

Hi christinem81152787,

I am sorry for the delay in response.

There is no need to pin Reader as an app.

Try to follow below mention steps:

1- Remove Reader using Cleaner found here: Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat Cleaner Tool - Adobe Labs

2- Restart the computer.

3- Download and install Reader DC from here: Adobe - Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Distribution

Let me know if above given steps worked.

Thank You,
Shivam
