Remove blue box around highlight

Hey,

How do I disable of the appearance of the blue box/border around highlighted objects/text?

It makes it impossible to highlight close rows and it is very annoying.

The "blue box" is shown when an annotation is selected. It shows the gripper bubbles for resizing and rotation. Deselect the annotation and it goes away.

it is not so simple.

because if I mark a row of text and then I try to use the highlight tool on the row below the frame appears, and I just can't use the tool - there is kind of overlapping because the frame is wider than the highlighting itself, and it covers rows upper and bellow the marked one.

is there any way to disable the frame appearing?

Hi, @Avifo, can you please go into some detail about how you are highlighting the text?

The reason I ask is that the Highlight Tool doesn't "select" text, it just wipes over the text as one with a highlight tool on paper. If you have selected the "Text" tool, you can select the text as your screenshot shows above.

Assuming that you're using the new UI (please let me know if you are or are not), if you select the Highlight Tool (top arrow), you can then select the text, which will show the highlight color after you swipe the text. You can change the color by clicking on the bottom colored dot (bottom arrow) as well as change the opacity if the highlight is too heavy and you cannot see the text (I keep mine about 50%). If you do it this way, you will not be generating the frame.
