Remove Hidden Information tool removing visible text

New Here ,
Feb 18, 2020 Feb 18, 2020

We use the Remove Hidden Information tool to process our pdf before sharing pdf.  We've now noticed that after running the tool it is removing visible text such as periods, colons, and sometimes the first letter of some text objects.  This is very strange since these characters are visible within the pdf.  Any ideas as to why this could be happening?

Hi,

Sorry for the inconvenience here.

Do you see this issue with every file or just this one file? Can you please share one such sample file where we can reproduce the issue.

Also share the Adobe Acrobat DC version you are using.

You can share sample files via Adobe Send https://documentcloud.adobe.com/link/send/ or any medium you are comfortable with.

Thanks,

Charu Karwa
