remove side panel

i see this is still unanswered from 2 years ago,

but i´ve only just started using Acrobat Reader again (work place limitation!!) and Oh My God, this BUG is really $%&ing ANNOYING.

Every pdf i open has the STUPID great big side bar - showing me rarely used options that should be, and were, in a dropdown menu.

So my question is: WHO exactly is the a-hole from hell that allowed this idiotic idea, that came from the special-needs token employee, to get implemented ????

EVERYBODY in the WHOLE world agrees that this is the dumbest idea ever in a software interface.

Even the developers of Windows10 are laughing - happy the focus is not just on their shitness !!!!

Seriously, how does such shit-for-brains ideas get through ??????????????????

Check before you rant: Permanently close the Tools pane in Acrobat Reader DC

Fulfilled the recommendation. Anyway, the panels on the right and left drop out every time you open a file.

Support. A terrible solution with side menus. Why can't I check the box "Remove all unnecessary" or "Display as Acrobat 9 ver.". And no more questions.
