Hey can you bring back the "save as" button? You only kept the "save button" and there are no file tools in the new update. Tried to leave feedback through the app, but the pop up is being blocked by admin security. You have to search for the function save as, use the save as PDF/A, and then change the file type to adobe pdf?

Hope you are doing well, and thanks for reaching out.
The option to save and save as is present under the hamburger menu at the top left corner of the new Acrobat experience, as shown in the screenshot below:
What is the version of the Acrobat DC you are using? To check the version go to Help > About Acrobat and make sure you have the recent version 23.06.20320 installed. Go to Help > Check for updates and reboot the computer once.
Also try to repair the installation from the help menu (Win Only) and see if that works.
Please try to reset the Acrobat preferences as described here https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-discussions/how-to-reset-acrobat-preference-settings-to-defau...
You may also try to create a new test user profile with full admin rights in Win or enable the root account in MAC and try using the application there and check.
Let us know how it goes.

Unfortunately, that option does not exist in my app:
As you can see there is no option for this. In addition, I want an icon as I use this constantly. If not, I would rather migrate to the older version
Any suggestions?

To go back to the old UI click the Options button at the top left corner (Windows) or open the View menu (Mac) and select Disable New Acrobat.
And you can vote here to get rid of it: https://acrobat.uservoice.com/forums/590923-acrobat-for-windows-and-mac/suggestions/47082691-ditch-t...

Oh, thank you, you just saved my career! This 2023 UI is a very non-intuitive change; it was perfect before, but now it looks like a half-baked smartphone UI. Adobe should just revert to the old, normal, COMPUTER style UI, but at least they give people the option to switch back in the settings.
This is NewSpeak levels of dumbing people down, Adobe!

I am running Acrobat Pro Version 2023.008.20421. I don't see a File menu or Save a Copy. I tried Save as, but I can't seem to save a copy. The file has security settings. When I try to disable them, it says to do a File--> Save a Copy.
BTW, this new version user interface is NOT an improvement. Everything is scattered around and in different, non-intuitive places in the UI. Very confusing. I wish I can downgrade. This version is awful.
This is what it tells me to do when I try to Edit the PDF. Is the help wrong or is my UI wrong?
This is what I see in my Acrobat Pro Menu.
I don't have a File menu at all. What am I missing here?

When you try to do a save as the interface now appears as a file export menu. Until you choose a folder there is little to make me think I can just save another pdf with a new name. This interface is just way over done and common work methods in every other program are masked by the over designed interface.
