I'm looking for a way to create a fillable form where at the bottom has a save as button that will put the content of one of the fields as the default file name that appears in the save-as dialog box. For example, I want the user to be able to fill out the form then have it all save (probably flatten the docutment at the same time) with a file as their name concatenated with the date just by clicking a button.

Does anybody have any ideas on how to do this?

It is possible to add a folder level script and a button that executes that script to save the PDF file to an existing safe folder with a given name.

How to Save a PDF with Acrobat JavaScript

The folder level script will need to be installed on each users system and the user or IT support should review the code to verify it is needed and allowed. The folder level script is used to prevent the silent saving of a PDF to an unknown location within a network or the Internet.
