Saved Settings in Header/Footer Tool Bar "Greyed out"

When I try to save a header setting, the "Save Settings" button is greyed out and therefore not available to choose.  Is there a setting somewhere that I need to turn this feature on?  Any suggestions are appreciated.  Thank you!

Did you enter a name for the settings?

I do not see where that is an option.  There is a drop down menu titled "Saved Settings:"  and the only drop down choice available to choose is "none specified".  The only other choice is "custom-not saved", but this option is greyed out and you can not choose it.

Add some text to header or footer and "Save Settings" is active. Then Acrobat ask for the name.
