I just posted a question on Acrobat Pro and got the following response within a few minutes:
Hi,
You can Directly send Email to our Customer Care Team at Adobecare@outlook.com and they will help you via Email.
Team Adobe
An email to that somewhat suspicious address got me an immediate reply asking for my Adobe ID and password. A quick chat session with Adobe customer support confirmed that this email address is not affiliated in any way with Adobe. Heads up, everyone!

Steve_Eklund, good evening.
You are right. If it is an official email from Adobe, the domain of the email address should be @ adobe.com.
(This was also the case when email from Adobe's customer support was received before)
Please note that it is not free mail such as outlook or gmail.

At outlook.com, they would need to kill that e-mail for better results...and the scammers would change to gmail or similar... (sic!)
The scammer has been reported.

Just to repeat: Adobe uses adobe.com.
And Adobe employees are marked as such here. Anyone not marked as Adobe emplyee and badged with the Adobe logo is not an Adobe employee. Even if he is (sometimes it happens that an unbadged enew employee posts here) it is wise not to give personal information.
(I'm badged as an ACP Community Expert not an Adobe employee, so I'm not an employee. Simple!)

I just received a scam private message with exactly the same text and email address as those mentioned above. This was in response to a question I posted here on the community support forums. Fortunately I realised that Adobe would not be using an outlook.com email account and did not send them an email.
The user who sent me the message is called "Adobe_Dave_Duff" and only joined the forums on 7th Jan 2020. I would suggest that Adobe remove this user.

Got the same email. From a certain Jan Wolfert, but seemingly wrong ID. He pretended to help me with an issue, did not ask me for Login details but after some discussions, eventually sold me an Acrobat 2020 "legitimate key" with an officially looking Adobe invoice. I have opened an own thread for that.
