Can this be scripted successfully? I want to script a Reader Extended fillable form so that if a shared form recipient opens the form in a version of Acrobat Pro or Acrobat Standard, hidden buttons in my form become visible (i.e. if the form is opened in Acrobat Reader the buttons remain hidden). Mouse up actions in these buttons call document level functions, which is the reason I want the buttons to remain hidden in Reader.

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

(imo, i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move it if needed.)
