Hi,
New to posting so apologies if this is in the wrong place.
I'm creating a form, with a text field in, I want to be able to show the text box at a certain size, but add in more text - that I do not need to print - only send in electronic form - and scroll through the information.
Is this possible in Adobe - or can anyone point me in the right direction please?
You can open Properties dialog and check "Allow Multiple Lines" under Options tab
Read more at PDF form field properties, Adobe Acrobat

Hello,
I've done this over and over. No matter how many times I make sure my text fields are formatted properly and have "Multi-Line" and "Scroll Long Text" checked, once the PDF is saved and sent to someone to fill in, a scroll bar does not appear for them to be able to scroll their typed text, it simply disappears. What am I doing wrong?

Probably nothing. Do you know what application they're viewing the file in? If it's not Adobe Acrobat or Adobe Reader, that's most likely the reason for this error.

Hello-
I too am trying to solve this issue. I created the form with multi line/scrolling text boxes. Once the form is filled out, signed and saved, when I open the form using Adobe, I CANNOT see all the text in the fillable text boxes. How do I fix this?
Thanks!
