search all open documents

advanced search is not offering an option to search in all open documents.

only the same folder which makes it tedious to search for documents from different locations.

even freeware can do that - well paid adobe pro dc can't?

Wow - I am surprised to see that limitation too!!!

am new to this community - on such topics when basic & petty features are missing - will there be any comment from adobe?

so far also nobody else has an easy way how to overcome w/o having to copy from all various locations the files into one folder?

"Adobe" doesn't usually comment on such issues. You can submit a feature request, and if enough people support it, it might happen in the future: https://www.adobe.com/products/wishform.html

thx. its not seamless - the wishforum does not use or accept the same login as for this community

one such request is there - with vote "1" so nobody actually misses this great feature.

will not continue further as quite tedious with adobe and will install my freeware again.
