The Search function is suddenly not working at all for any PDF file. And it's totally not the problem of my computer because I also tried the same on the other computer I have. Also checked the update status but it's updated to the latest version already. Please find the screenshot below when I try to search every pdf files I have.

Hope you are doing well and sorry to hear that.
I have tried to reproduce the issue on my end and it's working fine.
Would you mind sharing the version of the Acrobat DC you are using? To check the version go to Help > About Acrobat and make sure you have the recent version 22.1.20085 installed. Go to Help > Check for updates and reboot the computer once.

Please try to create a new test user profile with full admin rights in Win or enable the root account in MAC and try using the application there and check.
