Sending files requesting signature as an attachment.

Hello,

I would like to know if I can save a template requesting a signature and send in an e-mail as an attachment?  I would like to send the form outside of the Acrobat site.  Is this possible?

Also, is there a way to send multiple forms?  I have tested sending multiple forms, but it seems as if the recipient receives multple forms as one form.

Any help would be appreciated!  Thanks.

Sure. You can email the form directly, and you can attach as many files as you wish (well, until you reach the limit imposed by your email provider) to it.

Thank you for the information.  I can't seem to figure out this functionality outside of the Acrobat site.  Do you have any guidance?  I basically want to attach a document requiring a signature to an e-mail using Outlook not the Adobe site.

Thanks!

Just create the PDF file, add a signature field to it, save it and then attach it to an email, just like any other file...

Yeah, I tried doing just that but it only allows me to type when send myself a copy.

Steps:

Open PDF

Prepare Document

Add Digital Signature

Save

Send

I have no idea why it isn't working.  I select form needs signature when preparing the form.

Don't do that. It creates a specific kind of form used in Adobe Sign, which
is much more limited compared to a "normal" Acrobat form.

Thanks.  If I don't use the prepare form feature, how can I add the signature field to my pdf?  Every tool has the option to send and track, I just can't add the field and save.

I apologize for being such a novice.

You don't need Send & Track. One of the options under the Add New Field tool is "Signature"...

Thank you for your time.  I am going to call Adobe tomorrow.  I have tried everything and still can't get it to work.

I save the file and all the fields are there.  I send the file and open and it doesn't work.

Which version of Acrobat are you using?

It says version 2020.006 continuous release.

I thought I would call because I don't know what else to do.  I have watched probably 20 videos already and followed the steps to a "T" and took the advice from this forum and I still can't accomplish the task.

I will use the chat feature if phone doesn't work out.

"I am going to call Adobe tomorrow. "

Good luck with that.  Adobe support is mainly for billing and activation issues.  They don't teach people to use the software. There are online tutorials and user guides for that.  See link below.

I don't understand what the issue is... Are you able to add the Digital Signature field, or not?
