Setting expiry date for password?

I have started to give out yearly licenses of password protected adobe files and it would be nice to be able to set the expiry date of the password/the document, so a new license needs to be purchased after a yeat to continue using the file. Is this possible?  Thanks.

You would have to have the PDF "phone home" to check if it is still valid. Adobe should have a solution with the Adobe Experience Manager services.

Since this is an expensive product, you might want to research other products to comparison shop.
