shorter way to see the 'real' page size /trimbox

hi everyone,

wouldn't it make sense to see the real page size (Trimbox) when you hit command-D, because that's what I want to know: did I get the page seize right? not the bleed and slug.

is there a shorter way to check the page size rather then going to 'print production' > 'set page boxes' and check the Trimbox size in that window? what a way around...

any suggestions are welcome.

or... Adobe could extend command-D with the real page size and the other size between brackets?

many thanks!

stekkie

It's a rather weird function. Showing the crop box first is probably right, but it does doesn't tell you that it's only the current page. I don't like to see incomplete info.

indeed...

that option is 'ON' in my preferences.

and if your PDF has no bleed and slug (in your case), then this size is right. but I always give my books bleed and slug (for the printer).

this is what I see then in left bottom of my screenshot: that shows a size of 225,3 x 268,1 mm.

in my artbox is the correct page size/art box: 203,30 x 246,10 mm.

my wish is to see this size in the left corner of the PDF...

That would be a good preference option. You can make a feature request here:
