So disappointing that Acrobat is so bad I'm changing my .pdf association to REVU

New Here ,

I can't readily combine files by selecting and then right clicking and then selecting combine anymore.  I had Acrobat Pro on my desktop but now I have some garbage web based thing that is slow and doesn't do it.  Yeah, it may be me, but it wasn't me for over a decade so no its not me.  Switching my association to REVU which isn't as good as it used to be but better than this garbage.  Even this help/community interface is bad.

@greg_3378 I just tried with my Acrobat Pro on my desktop, and I was able to combine PDFs by right-clicking on the PDF, Search for Tools, which allows me to open the Combine Tool. Select the PDFs and insert it wherever I want. It took me a few seconds. So, on my end, it worked perfectly and quickly.

So, if you are using the web version, maybe switch back to the desktop if you had success in the past.

Hi @greg_3378,

Hope you are doing well. Thanks for writing in!

As @creative explorer correctly mentioned, the web version of Acrobat works in different capacities compared to what the desktop application can do.

On similar lines, I was able to select multiple files, right-click on the selection, and click on combine, and it worked for me.

What's interesting here to understand would be the location of the files where they are stored. It could be difficult even for the desktop application to combine files that are saved on cloud storage, as they are not actual files but images that appear on your list.

All that being said, give the latest version of the desktop application a try. You can download the installer file from here.

Let me know how it goes.

Regards,
Souvik.
