I have been using Adobe FrameMaker, Acrobat Pro and Enfocus Pitstop to create print PDFs for well over 10 years using the same process, the process has not changed. On Aug 14th, the appearance of Pantone 152 U changed from orange to green, and I can not figure it out.

Thanks for sharing the details. I understand how frustrating it must be to see a Pantone color suddenly shift after so many years of following the same process. Let’s try to narrow this down together.
To help us investigate further, could you please check the following:
Acrobat Version – https://adobe.ly/3PQQ7nE
Where the Shift Appears – Does Pantone 152 U look green only in Acrobat’s on-screen preview, or does it also appear green when you print/export the PDF?
Output Preview Check – If you go to Tools > Print Production > Output Preview, does it still list Pantone 152 U as a spot color plate, or has it been converted to CMYK?
Comparison Across Apps—If you open the same PDF in another viewer (for example, Acrobat Reader or Acrobat Web: https://adobe.ly/4fUuP4R ), does the color still shift?
Sample File – If possible, could you share a sample PDF (even a single test page) where Pantone 152 U shows up incorrectly? This would really help us reproduce the behavior. And the source file.
These checks will help us determine whether the change is occurring during Acrobat’s rendering or if the file itself is being altered. Once we have this information, we can loop in the right team for a deeper look.
Thanks again for flagging this!
