Stamp Selecting Text

Hello all.

In Acrobat Pro DC, when I click to try to place a stamp over a text box, the cursor will select the text rather than placing the stamp. I've discovered that holding Shift while clicking will override this, but I was wondering if there was an option or preference that will disable this behavior.

Do you have the latest version of Acrobat Pro DC installed?

Also are you running Windows or Mac OS? Which version (e.g. Windows 10, Mac OS High Sierra).

I am unable to replicate this in Continuous Release | Version 2018.009.20050.

When I select the Stamp, and click and drag over a text area, the stamp appears as expected.
