I am working on a form and need the text field to grow as I type text into it. I want the left and right justification to stay the same, I want the font size to stay the same, I just want the field area to grow and move the taxt afterwards. Some times, there will be one line in the field, other times, there can be 10. Can this be done?

This is not possible with Acrobat Reader. Try the forum for Adobe Acrobat.

Hope you are doing well.
Adding to what Bernd said, Acrobat Reader is a free-to-use application that allows essential viewing and minimal tools to work with for Acrobat Reader.
The feature you are referring to is solely for editing the PDF file or form, which would be possible with Acrobat Pro DC.
You may refer to the link for basic FAQs about form fields: PDF form field properties, Adobe Acrobat.
Hope this helps.

I've moved your post from Acrobat Reader to Acrobat.
