I am not able to type in the text feilds on the form I created. I made the document in Excel orignally and underlined every field I was going to make.
It seems that Adobe thinks this is a signature feild and is not letting my type in the field anymore. My Adobe software updated recently. This was not an issue prior. When I select the feild, the entire feild is highlighted and I get an option to sign (see photo).
If I press tab from there, it will bring me to the next text feild and allow me to type.
Screenshot of the entire screen
Any ideas on how I can fix this?
I tried to update and it would not let me. Instead, i uninstalled Adobe and then reinstalled and now it works again. Im glad i found this thread because i was having the same issue and I even sought help from support and they basically told me they didn't know how to help me and to just not use that function and created text boxes instead of form fields.

You must wait for a bug fix.

Same issue here. Is there another thread with a timeline from Adobe on a bug fix?
Stating the obvious here, but it's a big problem.

It's not just you it's me too. Only thing you can do is click tab to get to each field to type. You can't mouse click on the field. So annoying right now.

Any updates on fixing this bug? This is a HUGE problem when filling in the forms. I cant copy anything from the text boxes to paste in another box because of this issue.
How much longer to get your IT to get this fixed? They broke it, they need to fix it.

Hi there
We do not have any fixed time line for the fix, as the engineering team is still working on it.

Hi All,
Thank you for your patience so far.
The issue has been resolved. Please reboot the machine and then relaunch Acrobat.
Then, wait for some time and try to fill out the forms again.
Let us know how it goes.
Thanks,
Meenakshi

I am still having the problem described above. Is there an update I need to install? Restarting my computer did nothing to resove the issue. Thank you!

Hi there
What is the version of the OS and the Acrobat DC you are using? To check the version go to Help > About Acrobat and make sure you have the recent version 24.02.20759 installed. Go to Help > Check for updates and restart the Acrobat application and wait for some time and then try again.
Let us know how it goes.
