According to online help, there should be an option to add a calendar drop down box for a date field. I have set the properties for the field to date but don't see the icon for the calendar on the Prepare Forms header. Is there a method to add this feature to my program. My program subscription was purchased in December 2017.
Thank you.

What version of Adobe Acrobat do you use?
What icons can you see on the Prepare Forms header?

Why did you buy this old version?

It was acquired through my company......now I realize that it is not a current version and is an enterprise version that has not been updated. Our enterprise system often takes a year or two to assimilate new software.......
I guess I will have to wait until we receive an enterprise update.

You should be aware that this feature is only available with the updated Acrobat DC and Adobe Reader DC, for older versions your form would still need the user written date pickers be added to your form.

Acrobat DC provides a Calendar field. However this field is actually a regular text field with "Date" formatting. It's nothing special. Nothing different from form fields with date formatting in any version of Acrobat. The calendar drop down is a feature of Acrobat DC, not of the PDF. Any PDF with a date formatted form field will display the drop down in Acrobat/Reader DC.

This feature is not yet included in the perpetual version (2015) of Acrobat Pro DC, it will probably be in the next update.
As Thom said it's a "fake" tool: a text form field with a presettled Date format, anyway end users don't care since this feature is included in Acrobat Reader DC.
Get ready! An upgraded Adobe Community experience is coming in January.
