Getting 'there was an error processing a page. there was a problem reading this document(18)' error when  i open a PDF in a certain page( the image that exists does not show up) using Adboe Reader/Acrobat. The same PDF opens with out error in all browsers and other pdf readers.

We are sorry for the trouble. As described you are getting the error 'there was an error processing a page. there was a problem reading this document(18)'

 

Is this a behavior, with a particular PDF file or with all the PDFs? Please try to open a different PDF file and check.

 

Please try to recreate the PDF file as described below and see if that helps:

 

  • Open the PDF file in a web browser (Google Chrome)
  • Go to Print > Select 'Adobe PDF' in the printer list > Click on Print
  • Save the file with a different name and check

I am having the same problem but when I try to open the PDF in a google chrome, it does not open correctly. 

 

Can you please help me out with this I do not know what else to try.

Hello, I'm also facing the same issue. My PDF contains checkboxes added using the pdf-lib npm package, which I use to add elements like names, dates, checkboxes, and signature fields.
