Out of the blue, I cannot copy and paste from a pdf that I just created on my computer. The file is not protected, and I'm the one creating the pdf so I'm only using the fonts that are on said computer. I normally will copy and paste dates and amounts from the pdf into the body of an email using chrome. It's always worked, and then our of the blue it stopped working.
Also, I can attach this email and send it to myself and if I have the pdf open in chrome, I can then copy and paste the same text that I was unable to do just seconds before. I'm using default fonts so Arial, Calibri, Cambria, TNR, etc. Any ideas on how to resolve this?

As we understood from the description, you are copying the content from a PDF opened in the Adobe Acrobat desktop app and pasting it to an email body, and the email is opened on Chrome.
And it's not working, right? When you say it's not working, what does it mean? Is it not showing garbled text, or simply don't paste?
Thanks,

Let me clarify...when I say it didn't work it's not pasting the text—whether they are letters or numbers. I can highlight them, and then when I try to paste into the body of an email when using chrome, the text does not appear. If I right click to try to paste, it is not an option, nor does Ctrl V work.
I also tried to copy and paste from the PDF in Adobe to Notepad, and again, nothing pastes. With that same text that I am trying to copy and paste into Notepad, I tried pasting in Microsoft Word and it does paste, but the text has a box around it.
One other observation I made—all pdfs that were made on or before August 1, 2023 I have no issue opening those pdfs copying text from them and then pasting it into whatever app I want. Anything after this date, I am not able to copy and paste from Adobe. All files were created the same way too—regardless if the date, so I didn't change the font, text, layout, format, fle type, etc.
Finally, I was able to notice this issue was reoslved by the Print to PDF option when saving the file in Excel. If I print to pdf, I'm able to copy and paste text from the pdf into Chrome, Notepad, Word, etc., but if I save the Excel file as a PDF, using the Save As funciton vs the Print to PDF, I am back to not being able to copy and paste.
I've tried the updates, restarts, etc., can anyone else suggest a true fix for this?

I also have this problem, and also it is inconsistent! I just today copy/pasted a section of a PDF into a document, then went to copy/paste the next section and it won't paste anything at all now. Same document, same procedure, within 2 minutes of each other! I don't know the answer, going to try updating.
