I am using a Mac OS 10.13 and Adobe Acrobat Reader with an HP Officejet 7740 which supports duplex printing. When I choose duplex for a document the odd pages print right side up and the even pages print on the back but upside down. I have chosen Landscape and long edge binding. The duplex function works fine with other apps like Apple's Pages, just not with Acrobat. I used Terminal and CUPS to allow duplex printing, and have tried changing the other options such as short-edge binding. No matter what I try, the document prints all of the text perfectly except with the backs of pages upside-down. Again, all other apps print both one-sided and duplex on this printer in the right orientation.

Hi There,
Thanks for reporting the issue here.
It seems to be the case, where one is using "Print on both side of paper" with default "Flip on short edge" selected.
In this case while printing, one need to select "Flip on short edge" from the print menu under "Print on both side of paper".
Please do let us know, if anything else is required from our end.
Regards,

I have 'long-edge' selected and if I select 'short edge' nothing changes. I've had to download another pdf reader to get the job done.
