Turning some Word docs into fillable PDF forms. A couple have worked; two are not working, I get this message:
"Bad PDF; could not read page structure (bad page contents) [3]."
I can't figure out how to fix this; the successful ones and the failed ones seem to have the same kinds of content (type and lines, etc.)

How did you convert them, exactly?

Thanks for asking! I downloaded the forms in Word and then attempted to convert them using the Adobe Acrobat "Forms" option

I'm not sure what you mean by that... My questions was more about how you converted them from Word to PDF, not how you added the form fields in Acrobat.

Sorry, I'm not even a novice on this. I created the forms in Word, then attempted to directly create a PDF form using Acrobat from the Word document, I did not create a regular PDF first from the Word doc.

Again, you're not answering my question. What EXACT steps did you take to convert the Word file to a PDF, or to a PDF form?

Step 1. Downloaded Google Doc files to my PC desktop as Word doc (.docx)
Step 2. Selected "Adobe Acrobat DC" icon on my PC desktop.
Step 3. Clicked "Tools" in Adobe Acrobat Pro DC
Step 4. Selected "Prepare Form" from Tools menu
Step 5. Selected .docx files from PC desktop
Step 6. Selected "Start" in Adobe Acrobat Pro DC
Step 7. Received error message

Maybe the Google Docs-Word transfer attempt is part of the problem/the problem

Yeah, this is a strange way of doing it. If the Word files appear correct when you open them then use the Acrobat ribbon (in Word) to convert them to a PDF. Then go to Tools - Prepare Form to run the form fields detection wizard on those PDF files. It will probably identify some fields, but you'll still have to do some manual tweaking.
