Unable to determine version of Acrobat installed

Hi, hope someone can help me.

We have deployed Acrobat Reader DC (Continuous) and Acrobat Professional DC (Continous) to multiple devices in our environment. We are looking to use group policy to configure file associations for the different versions then targetting the devices and using group policy item level targeting detecting the msi code and deploying the correct .xml file related to the version.

I downloaded the default xml file associations from Setting the Default PDF Viewer — Deployment Planning and Configuration (adobe.com)

I then reviewed Appendix A: Identifying Installs — Deployment Planning and Configuration (adobe.com)
and can see Adobe require the use of SWID tags or registry to detect Acrobat DC Reader vs Acrobat DC Professional.

However I have looked on my devices and I cannot see SWID tags or the registry key mentioned in the article.

Just wondering what I am missing here. I am unable to detect via registry / MSI code etc as both versions say "Adobe Acrobat DC".

Please help.

Thanks

The 64 bit version of Adobe Acrobat DC and Acrobat Reader DC uses the same registry entries.

Hi yes, am aware of that. I am following this link: https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/AdminGuide/identify.html but when reviewing my laptops and desktops I cannot find either an SWID tag or registry entry mentioned in the article: (Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Adobe\Adobe Acrobat\DC\AVEntitlement\iEntitlementLevel)

Thanks

300 is the Pro edition, 7760 I think is Reader. Can't remember if 200 or 400 is Standard.
