Unable to edit blank forms with signature fields after updating to Acrobat Pro DC

Just updated to Adobe Pro DC.

Every form developed in a previous version that has a signature block now can't be edited because Adobe says it is signed and locked, which it's not.  Help?

Were the forms saved with reader extension enabled maybe?

Are you able to use Save as a Copy and then open the copied version of the form and edit it?

P.s. I've assumed you updated to Acrobat Pro DC , not Pro 2017 as that application doesn't exist afaik.

Yes – I believe you’ve identified the problem! It does seem to affect only files saved with reader extension enabled. Since I have the originals saved from before enabling that extension I can use those. Thank you!
