I have an interactive PDF form with form fields and checkboxes.
Some of the checkboxes are showing tooltips when hovering over them.
With "Prepare Form" open I selected those checkboxes, went to Properties, and can confirm that the Tooltip field is blank. I even selected it just in case and hit delete.
Exited "Prepare Form", hovered over the checkbox and tooltip is still there.
Any ideas?

It displays the export values of the checkboxes.

Thanks for the quick reply. Is there a way to just not have any tooltips showing?

To clarify - I mean is it possible to keep the export values but not have them appear for the user when hovering over the checkboxes?

I don't know.

Adobe recently changed the application to do that, unfortunately. Try adding a single space as the tooltip, instead of leaving it blank.

Thanks for your reply.
I tried your suggestion of leaving it blank. It turns out the export value will show no matter what you type in the Tooltip field. It will display the Tooltip followed by a colon and then the export value.
If the export value is "yes", and the tool tip field in Properties is "does homer like donuts", when hovering over the checkbox this will appear: "does homer like donuts: yes"

No, hélas.
