Unable to Request E-Signatures

New Here ,
Feb 24, 2025 Feb 24, 2025

I have an Enterprise plan that includes, in theory, full access to Adobe Acrobat. However, I cannot seem to utilize the Request E-Signatures function. I have fully updated my app and attempted from both within the app and the web browser and extension in both Chrome and Safari. When I get to the point of selecting my document, the screen never loads (spinning blue circle) and sometimes an error appears at the bottom that reads NO_SIGN_USER. I can't even click on the information button within the error message. I've tried logging into Adobe Sign but it redirects me to my Adobe Acrobat homepage and I'm back to where I started. I've gone through other discussions here and have not found a solution that works.

Hello!

I hope you are doing well. We apologize for the trouble you had using the E-signature feature.

Could you please confirm what's the current version of the Acrobat desktop app installed? Please ensure you have the latest version of Acrobat installed on the machine: 25.001.2043x Optional update, Mar 19, 2025. Check for any pending updates from the Menu > help > check for updates, install the updates, restart the app and the machine, and check. For more information, see this: https://adobe.ly/4hU7saN

Do you get the error message on the desktop as well as on the online services? Have you tried using a different browser? Are you on a Mac or Windows OS, and what is the version?

If the issue persists with the desktop app, could you please collect the machine's logs and the above-mentioned information and share them with us for further investigation?

Thanks,

Anand Sri.

Hi Anand -- I've tried using the cloud and desktop version to try and send the e-signatures. For the desktop, it does not give the option to do e-signatures. For the cloud version When I click on "request e-signatures" (first screen shot), I get the second screen shot where it just keeps working, with no pop-up to start the e-signature process. I've tried multiple browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Edge), and they all do the same thing. Sometimes it will show "no_sigs" at the bottom of the screen for the second screen shot.

Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

Thank you.
Katye

Hi @augusta_uo

Thank you for your patience and support.
We got the logs checked, the logs seem to be inconclusive in finding the root cause of the issue. Also, after checking your account details, it seems you need to check with your University Admin to see if they have granted you access to Acrobat Sign.

If you have further questions let us know.

Regards,

Anand Sri.

I also have the no_sign_user error bar show up randomly on my screen and when it does, I am no longer able to save changes to the server. My page has been stuck on the saving changes wheel for twelve hours to no end. Is thjere a way i can reconnect to the server so I won't lose all my changes? acrobat save wheel stuck.png
