Unable to verify Acrobat Pro DC Subscription

New Here ,
Dec 07, 2020 Dec 07, 2020

I have a CC membership (all the apps). About a month ago, Acrobat Pro DC started throwing the errors in the screen shots attached to this post. First, it can't seem to verify my subscription (again, this doesn't happen with any of my other CC apps). This, of course, makes it supremely difficult to even read PDFs. When I try to log out, thinking maybe that will fix it, it throws the other error and I can't log out. I have tried to uninstall and re-install it but this is driving me nuts (BTW, the help materials on Adobe website are abysmal in trying to resolve this issue). Can someone provide some help please? I'm on Windows 10 64bit.

Hi there,

Hope you are doing well and sorry for the trouble. As described you are getting error 'Initializing registration. Please wait after a minute' and also the error 'Unable to verify subscriptiostatus'

Please check the firewall settings and see if its blocking the communication with Adobe servers, you may also refer to the help page: https://helpx.adobe.com/in/download-install/kb/cannot-verify-subscription-offline-mode.html

Also for the registration issue, please delete the following folder: C:\ProgramData\Adobe\SLStore and reboot the computer once and check if that helps.

For more information you may please check the similar discussion: https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat/acrobat-dc-crashes-initializing-registration/td-p/9779619?pag...

Regards

Amal
