You have to set the text field's "Options" for "Allow Rich Text Formatting" through the "Text Fields Properties" pop-up. Once the field's properties is properly set, you can highlight the text in the field and right mouse click to set the properties of the highlighted text.

  • Create a text field
  • Access the field's properties (highlight right mouse click select "Properties")
  • Goto the "Options" tag
  • Select the "Allow Rich Text formatting"
  • Exit "Properties"
  • Exit edit the form

If you are using an existing form, the form field needs to be configured to allow the rich text format.

If the form field is properly formatted

  • User your mouse to select the text in the form field
  • Right mouse click
  • Select the "Text Style" from the pop up context menu
  • Select underline

Or

  • Select text in the form field
  • Use the "<Ctrl> + U" key combination

That works except now I have the + sign on all the fields that I have done that to.

How to I remove those?  I have limited the number of characters and the plus sign is still there on display and on the printed copy.
